If your household is currently approved to receive Free and Reduced Price Meals, this status will be honored from Sept. 2nd through Oct. 15, 2009.

But in order to be considered for continuation of these valuable benefits after Oct. 15, 2009 you must reapply.

• A new application will be mailed directly to your residence sometime during the month of September. Please wait until the application arrives at your home to reapply.
   
• Your child's school will distribute applications only to those families who were not approved for Free and Reduced Price Meals as of June 12, 2009.
   
• If your application has not been approved by Oct. 15 your child's meal benefit will expire and their status will revert automatically to "Full Pay" on Oct. 16th, 2009.
   
• Because it can take up to 10 days to process your application, it is highly recommended that you submit it by September 30, 2009 in order to give us time to process your new application and prevent a lapse in benefits.
