WSD Middle School Science Power Standards (pdf)- These are the power standards that were determined by the middle school science teachers in the spring of 2006.

MS directions on writing an investigation- A template that gives the students prompts on how to write an investigation.

Vocabulary tracking chart- A grid that allows students to track their vocabulary scores on their periodic quizes.

Teacher tracking chart- A grid for teachers to track class percentages on the vocabulary quizes.

Class vocabulary word tracking sheet- Allows for each classes words to be written down and monitored over time.

Blank reading log- A graphic organizer for students to use when reading in the science content.

Science Article Summary- A graphic organizer that can be used by students to summarize a science article or short piece of text.

Compare and Contrast- A venn diagram that can be used to compare and contrast two scientific concepts.
