What is the correct entry date for a student? / /
The first day a student attends a course of study at your school.

What is the correct withdraw date for a student? / /
The last day a student attended a course of study at your school.

What's the difference between NY Grad Yr, Grad Req Base Yr and WA Grad Yr?
For 9th grade and above: /Graduation Years Defined
For elementary and middle schools these years should match the current grade grad year.

I have to adjust an FTE (schedule change) do I just edit it? / /
No - you need to do a "Status Change". We need a record of when and why the FTE was adjusted, if this is a new student and a count day has not passed, you may edit the record.

I need to advance a students' grade level during the year, how do I make the adjustment?
Use the "Status Change" button on the E/W tab, be sure to click the advance button to "yes" and use the "P1" code for withdraw and re-entry code. (If a student needs to be adjusted to a lower grade - the same procedure applies except you use the "RET" code and click the retained button to "yes").

My student is in the JDC, do I have to withdraw them ? / /
Yes - (but only if they are attending the Juvenile Detention School) use the "JDC" withdraw code and make sure the withdraw date is the last day he/she attended your school. When they are released re-enter the student, use the "JDC" entry code.

When do we officially close the doors for summer and reopen the doors for the new year?
We close the doors 1 week after the last day of school and we reopen the doors 2 weeks before the first day of school. (hours are 9-12 and 1-3)
