Serve as a liaison and resource person between Title 1/LAP teachers, classroom teachers, and para educators. Provide in-service training for Title 1/LAPteachers, classroom teachers and para-educators. Assist in program development procedures, data collection, budget management and program compliance. Work collaboratively to develop and support an outreach program for parent involvement.

Jodi Smith, Director of Learning and Teaching
Literacy (Reading & Writing) training and support for middle school teachers, Disseminating current information regarding the WASL and other state documents. Participate and provide leadership on district alignment and articulation of literacy curriculum, instruction and assessment. Serve as coordinator and coaching mentor to WSD instructional coaches. Facilitate communication between targeted grade levels and buildings, both horizontally and vertically with a focus on Title/LAP students.

Jennifer Delashmutt, District Math Facilitator/Coach Grades K-8
Provide district math training and additional support for Title elementary schools, facilitate communication between targeted grade levels and buildings, both horizontally and vertically in alignment to the State EARLS. Disseminate current information regarding WASL and effective instructional practices. Work collaboratively with other instructional coaches, individual teachers and building principals.

Adrienne Nestor, English Language Learner Instructional Coach/Professional Development Coordinator
Assists staff to implement instructionally effective practices. Works with staff to implement an effective ELL program using research-based strategies. Facilitate teams across the district to further align curriculum, instruction and assessment. Work collaboratively with other instructional coaches, individual teachers and building principals.

Maintain personnel records for all Special Programs. Facilitates the organization of special program events.

Answer phones and route calls. Administers Language Assessment Scale (LAS) test to students. Bilingual/Migrant data/secretarial support. Check in and manage new materials and inventory. Time and Effort collection, send out newsletter. Filing, copying, typing. General office support.

Maintain records of Migrant student population. Enter data into the national record system and local district system. Supervise yearly Migrant physicals. Edit and distribute monthly newsletter. Facilitates communication with Migrant families regarding PAC activities and meetings. Maintain enrollment records for Migrant summer school program.

District liaison between school, community and Migrant families. Recruits and interviews families for qualification into Migrant program. Maintains files on certification of eligibility. Provides information and referral services to Migrant families, assists families with program forms.
  Melissa Hernandez, Family Advocate & Community Specialist (Middle School)
Liaison between school, community and family for the Migrant/Bilingual students. Assists with development and implementation of student leadership programs, clubs and activities. Home visits as necessary. Plan and supervise yearly Migrant/Bilingual Leadership Conference.
  Family Advocate
Assist in development of an outreach program to promote parent and student involvement with school/community activities. Team with counsellors, teachers, administrators and family advocates to foster home-school partnerships. Assist development and facilitation of building parent advisory groups and assist with district level parent advisory groups as needed. Establish communication with school and home.
