I am Laura Waldren, WSD Mentor/Coach. As a WSU graduate, I began teaching in 1975. My teaching experience is varied, as is my experience in educational leadership. It is now a pleasure to be in my current role supporting our new teachers.
My husband, John (principal of Foothills Middle School) and I have two wonderful and beautiful daughters, Kristen and Julie. Both of our daughters are married and we are blessed to be grandparents!
If I'm not playing with grandkids, gardening with my husband, reading a good book or having coffee with friends at Starbucks, then you'll find me decorating something - somewhere!
I hope this website gives you ideas, inspiration and encouragement. Being an educator is a wonderful gift. The opportunities to make a difference in lives is endless. Enjoy!
