The Icicle Creek Youth Symphony and Academy Orchestra in concert with
Mariachi Huenachi

On Monday, March 24th at 7:30 PM, the Icicle Creek Youth Symphony, in
collaboration with Mariachi Huenachi presents “La Noche de Huapango”, a
Hispanic cultural celebration featuring José Pablo Moncayo’s famous and
festive “Huapango”. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Bellini’s famed
Overture to the opera Norma, and Shore’s “Lord of the Rings” Suite round out
the evening’s musical selections as conductors Kara Hunnicutt and Dr. Jeremy
Briggs Roberts join Ramon Rivera and the Mariachi Huenachi. The concert is
sponsored in part by Cascade Autocenter, El Abuelo Family Mexican
Restaurant, El Mundo, the Wenatchee World, North Cascades National Bank,
Stemilt Growers, Inc., and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center.
